MUST READ!!! NEW YORK TIMES FEATURES ATTACK ON KANSAS CITY BISHOP FINN!!!

One again the leader of Kansas City Catholics is under scrutiny and facing backlash from his parishioners that has reached the Vatican.

Check it:

New York Times: Pope Pressed on Bishop Who Supervised Pedophile

Deets:

"A group of Roman Catholics in Kansas City, Mo., and a priest with expertise in canon law petitioned Pope Francis this week to take disciplinary action against Bishop Robert W. Finn, who was convicted in 2012 of failing to report a priest who was an active pedophile.

The parishioners wrote to Francis asking why he suspended a German bishop who spent tens of millions building his opulent quarters, but left in office a bishop who failed to protect children. They argued that Bishop Finn also broke church law and should be subject to a penal proceeding."

Clearly this is a move powered by a great deal of Catholic knowledge and the reliance of the Church on old rules . . . VERY OLD RULES.

So far Bishop Finn has outlasted his critics but few have them have dared to go over his head and make their complaints from within the Catholic Church.

Developing . . .

  1. Ha! They might as well save their breath. Bishop Finn is going nowhere.
And who in the hell listens to the Jew York Times anyway.

  2. The inaccuracies in the Times' report almost make the Star's horrific and biased reporting look responsible.

In fact, were Finn ever to decide to just say screw it, he could likely retire a multi-millionaire on the slander and libel suits he would win even as a public figure.

When the Pope sends Law back to Boston to face justice, I'll believe he is serious.

It kind of makes wonder what Father Flanagan, the founder of Boy's Town, meant when he said: "There is no such thing as a bad boy."

  7. Lets not leave Finn's palatial digs down at the chancery out of the discussion. Try to get someone down there to talk about the money spent and wasted. Nothing will happen. Bishops don't fall down they fall up.

  8. Good point on the digs... Finn was the one who sold the bishop's mansion on Janssen Place and moved to a small apartment in the middle of a rehabbed office building saving hundreds of thousands.
