LAST CHANCE?!?! CAN MAYOR SLY SAVE KANSAS CITY FROM SNOW DESTRUCTION?!?!

The zero hour is quickly approaching for Kansas City's Mayor as a snow storm slowly slouches our way and residents already seems frightened if mainstream media reporting is any indication.

Accordingly, we have to ask . . .

IS THIS MAYOR SLY'S LAST CHANCE TO SAVE KANSAS CITY FROM THE SNOW IN WHAT HAS BEEN AN EXCEPTIONALLY MEDIOCRE YEAR FOR COWTOWN SNOW REMOVAL?!?!

The city's emergency prep was from the KCMO control room was somewhat impressive and made Mayor James seem like he was in charge and soon to rush out the door and grab a shovel. The locals love that kind of "take charge" attitude delivered with a smile. Still, a quick glance on local streets reveals that we still haven't really cleaned up from the last winter glaze.

And so . . . Kansas City seems eager to give the Mayor another chance to prove his merit as a manager even if his skills have CLEARLY disappointed so far.

Developing . .

  1. It's not the Mayor's fault the streets are horribe. Go talk to MoDot. That's what a real journalist would do. Jeez.

  2. There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

Snowstorm Cyclops is bearing down on the city so make sure you have bread, water, flashlights, and emergency supplys. Do not venture outside your home unless it is an emergency. Keep your weather radio turned on at all times, and obey the authorities instructions untill the storm has passed.

  8. TKC, stop trying to hold the Mayor accountable. You should know by now that he doesn't answer to anybody. Besides, if he doesn't care about murders than it's highly unlikely that the shape of KC streets could hold his attention.

  11. "We're encouraging people if they can possibly stay home to stay home," said James. "And we're having city employees come in because city employees are responsible for doing a lot of stuff in this city and we need to make sure that we have the full cadre of people on hand to get those jobs done."

  18. Kansas city is full of pussies!!! we dont get all that much snow here and the temps on a average are not all that bad, but kansas city citizens act like a holocaust is coming when a snow storm is predicted, the grocery store shelves are bare all due to the news and the fact that people here think 10 inches of snow is a reason to shut down a city (BTW its not a hurricane) I wonder why these morons think they have to stock up on a month of food for a 2 day storm....only in Kansas City!!

  23. The heavy snow is actually a blessing for KC. It makes the niggers easier to spot, as they stand out good against a white background. Makes for good targets too!
