KANSAS CITY SNUFF CLIP: INTERNETS VIDEO FEATURES DEADLY FIGHT BETWIXT FIREFIGHTER VS. KCPD OFFICER!!!

Mainstream media are offering a fight club clip of a case that has already been decided, twice I guess.

Two links for Tuesday:

KCTV5:"Video captures firefighter attacking police officer"

KSHB: "Cell phone video released in Anthony Bruno case"

Fox4KC: Cell phone video shows final moments of confrontation between Bruno and Hubbard

KMBC: Video shows brawl just before police officer shot KC firefighter

Your affiliations will probably determine how you view the case and the only thing that's for sure is that fight with the po-po is a pretty bad idea no matter what the occasion, but that's not really news and neither is this . . .

  6. KCTV 5 edited the video. It doesn't play out in the real order of events like the one on the KC Star. Why? Why does KCTV 5 feel the need to cut and paste and switch the order if events around?

  9. Sad case but if you hit a cop you aren't going to get a lot of sympathy from the public. Even if you are a firefighter.

  10. Check out the eyes of the fireman, he looks disturbed. Acting that way did him in.

  11. Yep.. democrat greedy union firefighters get a TON of perks from the city..

but.. beating a cop's head in isn't one of them.

  13. Interesting that the person shooting the video thought the cop was taking an "aggressive" stance.....and in the middle of trying to arrest this guy the person videoing and the other person feel they should ask the cop why are you doing this.....simply, they were distracting the officer and interfering with his duties.

If they want to question him as to the "why" wait until he has the guy in custody....my god, I am guessing they weren't there when this started....they weren't aware of the taxicab driver getting assaulted but yet they feel the right to question a police officer when he is in the middle of arresting someone.

Stay out of it until the cops are completed with the arrest or I have an idea, go to court and find out but stay the hell out of the way!!

  19. How about the woman that says she is a nurse and knows that all cops are dicks. I'd like to know where she works. And the guys statement...what an asshat..."He then stated to me something to the effect of, 'What I have can be used against the officer.' After he stated that to me, I then grabbed his cell phone out of his hand, closed his case on the cell phone and then placed it on the hood of my police car because I believed that it contained evidence of what occurred," Officer Jacob M. Moore said.

Reinhard told police that he initially began recording because he felt that the officer was using aggressive and unnecessary force. He said he thought it would become a legal matter and "cameras are the ultimate accountability."

He said he reviewed his video with Bruno's family, including parents. He said Bruno's family were grateful he took the video and had relief. He said they share his thoughts that Bruno did not initiate the situation.

Reinhard said he believes Bruno was cooperating and only fought back in reaction to a blow to the head.

"I saw a man who wasn't really resisting and I saw a cop use a lot of force that caused injury. He dropped a knee on the victim's head, and at that point the victim started fighting back and that is when shots were fired," Reinhard said. "I think the cop got himself into a situation that he shouldn't have been in and wasn't prepared to deal with and then had to escape it in a means in which someone lost their life. And I don't think anyone had to die in that situation."

He said he has few regrets about his actions, and is glad he could provide an account of what happened.

Screw you Reinhard. As for the nurse...I'd rather suffer than let her treat me.

  24. Bruno should have really just put his hands behind his back. However he had been drinking and we all have made mistakes and done things we normally don't do when drinking. However the second that cop bounced a knee onto the head of a man that was laying on his side, bouncing his head off the pavement, he dramatically escalated the situation. Bruno was in the wrong no question. But fuck every single one of these cops posting on here thinking it's perfectly acceptable to drop a knee like that and bounce a persons head off the pavement and not expect a reaction.

  27. The people who recorded that video are the only true witnesses to this murder! They saw what happened and decided to film the police brutality in front of them. That cop had no excuse to drop a knee into Bruno's head. He had Bruno in a submissive position already. Justice has not been served by the Grand Jury! And all you cop sympathizers here are disgusting. This cop was reaching for his gun before Bruno even hit him! He had every intent to kill him. Completely disgusting and just more proof that this city's murder rate is out of control and it starts with the police! What's Sly saying about this? He's awful quiet here, some leader he is.

  31. This is no murder. This is an officer fighting for his life. The officer didn’t escalate the situation with a knee drop to the head, Bruno escalated the situation when he decided to run from the scene where he assaulted the cab driver once the officer showed up. Bruno clearly was resisting arrest by refusing to put his hands behind his back as seen in the video. Yes Bruno obviously was drunk, but being drunk isn’t an excuse….its a choice. If the officer would have started beating him then the public would have cried excessive force on this poor individual. No one has any idea what was going through this officers mind when he was fighting this drunk asshole all by himself. This wasn’t a UFC fight where the first one to get knocked out looses. Officers have rules they must follow and only match force with force…heaven forbid they use more force than the individual at the time they are trying to take them into custody. Bruno decided his own fate. He fucked up as seen in the video. Once he decided to start throwing fist (he was the first one to throw a punch) it was game on. I guess Bruno learned his lesson from this one

  32. If a cop drops a knee to my head, I may be just a little pissed as well. He didn't need to do that. Bruno was not fighting back until the knee bounced his head off of the concrete. The cop shouldn't have tried to be a hero by himself. Back off and call for backup. He had his cell phone with him. It all escalated after the knee was dropped.

  33. Bruno was not fighting back until the knee bounced his head off the concrete? What do you call refusing to put your hands behind your back? What do you call RUNNING from the police officer? Yea good idea to back off and call for back up....just let the bad guy back up onto his feet to attack you huh... obviously the officer knew Bruno had already assaulted the cab driver so why would he assault the officer if given the chance? I love these morons that come on here voicing how to be a police officer. "Excuse me sir while im fighting with you... if you don't mind im going to step back and phone a friend to come help me arrest your drunk ass...if you don't mind just laying right there until I get off the phone I would greatly appreciate it" Go back to your desk jobs morons!!

  35. @9:59 Obviously you are a police officer. First of all, any way you try and twist this, the knee drop which bounced the firefighters head to the pavement escalated the entire situation. Yes, the FF was wrong, yes he shouldn't have attacked the cab driver, even though from the sounds of it the driver may have had it coming. Yes, the FF should have just cooperated. That still doesn't change the fact that kneeing a persons head into the ground usually causes a reaction. Obviously the officers lacked the training and physical ability to do with that reaction. Maybe you guys need brush up your physical fitness and training standards, because that attempt to subdue the firefighter was lousy to say the least. Point is, the FF was on the ground, he was unarmed. At this point he isn't much of a threat to an armed officer or individual for that matter. I've been in similar and far worse situations where the threat is much greater. I don't like the direction our police forces are heading because in recent years, they have employed tactics typically reserved for the battlefield overseas, on non violent american citizens. If you want to participate in direct action raids against real threats sign up for the military, earn a spot within a special operations unit and go overseas. It doesn't make you tough or a badass to barge into the home of an non violent american citizen because you got some tip they were growing weed personal use in their basement. It makes you a wanna commando, that didn't have the balls to sign up and do it for real against real threats.

    1. obviously the grand jury didn't have a problem with the video.you can twist it anyway you want to but at the end of the day the officer was justified for what he did to protect himself. As for your rants about search warrants in people's homes that has nothing to do with the situation. It sounds to me like you want to complain just to complain.

    2. OR, he's just another mouth breathing, ignorant cop hater ...

  36. Well first, I never said the officer wasn't justified in his decision to use deadly force. In his position I would have used the same measures. However, I wouldn't have ended up in that situation in the first place. It was flat out stupid of him to drop a knee and not be prepared for the predictable reaction which took place afterwords. Using deadly force is a means of last resort, dropping the knee and bouncing an intoxicated man who is 15 years younger and 30 lbs heavier became the bridge to that last resort. Draw your weapon and hold that perceived threat in place, until proper backup arrives. It's a simple concept, used all the time on the battlefield against much greater threats than a drunk dude that punched a cabbie over a $6 fare. Yes I am complaining. First because I have that right. Second, because I pay your salary, and you answer to the people who you are supposed to serve. Your tactics in search warrants are a joke. Police departments taking delivery of MRAP's (Mine-resistant ambush protect) vehicles are a joke. You want to play soldier, go overseas. Your job is to serve and protect.

  37. Yep, after seeing the video, the cop definitely escalated the situation with the knee to the head which in turn bounced the firemans head of of the concrete. An action caused a normal reaction. 2 cops are better than one, is why the cop should have called for help. He had time to do that when the fireman was laying on his side not fighting back.
