KANSAS CITY E-TAX TIME AGAIN!!!

A recent City Hall presser reminds us that it's time to settle up with the city for all the GREAT SERVICES they provide . . . Mostly promoting sketchy eco-devo projects that never seem to work out as planned.

Take a look:

Annual Reconciliation of Earnings Tax Withheld and supporting W-2 information due Feb. 28

The City of Kansas City, Mo., reminds employers to file their Employer’s Annual Reconciliation of Earnings Tax Withheld by Friday, Feb. 28, 2014. All W-2 forms are also due at this time.

Employers who file W-2 information electronically or via magnetic media with the federal government are required to do so with the City. W-2 information may be submitted electronically via the City’s online portal, Quick Tax, at www.kcmo.org/quicktax. For those requiring a paper format, forms and instructions may be obtained on the City’s website at www.kcmo.org/tax.

Please remember to file the required Employer’s Annual Reconciliation of Earnings Tax Withheld and the W-2 information by Feb. 28 – per the City’s ordinances, employers who fail to meet the deadline will be assessed a stiff penalty fee, similar to IRS penalties.

City ordinance also now requires electronic filing and remittance for employers with 250 or more employees for all withholding-related taxes for periods beginning Jan. 1, 2013. Please note that there are penalties for failure to comply with this mandate. The specific penalties are on the form at www.kcmo.org/tax.

  1. The municipal income tax is one more reason Kansas City Mo. has become a slum hell hole.

My very first job was in KCMO. I found that tax so appalling that I swore I would never work there again.

Now, Killer City is just the outlaw zone where I go for cheap booze. It's always fun the screw your state government, especially when it's Brownback and the ku-klux Christians.

  2. Sly had just better hope that the renewal of the etax that comes up every five years doesn't hit at the same time the real financial hole this gang has dug for the city becomes public.
And he has to hope that some outside folks don't thow a bunch of money into that campaign to repeal it.
    Freefall city!

Sly has the e-tax voters bent over their faux-granite countertops and he is just pounding away at that starfish with his Big Mandingo Dong... and when he asks if they've had enough they say "More! More! Give me the GOO!!"
Maybe if you ask nicely he'll adjust the toaster a bit so you can watch in the reflection.
Really nice job of voting to continue the e-tax you rube dumbfuck idiots.
