Blogging The American Jury System

Uncommon Courage shares some really great thoughts about the American Judicial System: "I am so proud to live in this country because of the diligence and courage of its citizens . . . I still believe that, uniformly, jurors want to be just, listen to the evidence and the law from the judge, and do their utmost to be just and fair."

  1. And it's that sense of justice and fairness that has prosecutors and judges so scared. They have done everything in their power to push juries aside.

  2. Jurors are mostly cowards and sheep just like they are when at their jobs in corporate america. Think not? How the fuck do you have enough evidence to convict Jesus Christ and O.J. Simpson walks. Then we have the Anthony case. Of course prosecutors aren't any better. Look at old dead ass Al who sent serial killers on vacation rather than to the chair.

  4. 9:54 If you think I'm scary wait until some ass hole who has been let loose a half dozen times comes to visit you.

  5. Well I was on a jury for a felony crime and we convicted based on the evidence. Also I think the defense did one hell of a job defending his client but in the end the cold hard evidence said he was guilty.
Not all of us voted to convict for the first vote. We had to see a few things again and talk amongst ourselves about it then voted again. So I say your wrong 9:43 and need to maybe vote some judges and prosecutors out of office. I am guessing you live in Kansas City MO and I don't so maybe that's the difference.

  6. How can you vote them out of office when they have no opposition? The people do not decide on a DA or judge. They are placed in those positions for a reason. To keep their corrupt friends and city employees out of jail.
