28-yr. old man lives with the 55-yr. old man and his wife. Junior swung a hatchet at Senior, then fled the scene. Officers arrive, Senior's dog charges them, they shoot and kill the dog! Victim refused treatment. Police still searching for Junior.
Accomplished nothing, plus one dog died in the line of fire, mistakenly trying to defend it's owner.
