With the exception of the school that Brad Pitt and his wife wanna develop into condos for their African babies . . . By and large the "repurposing" effort for Kansas City Public Schools hasn't had much luck as of yet.

CHECK THE KANSAS CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS "REPURPOSING" PAGE AND NOTICE NEARLY ALL OF THESE SCHOOLS ARE STILL ABANDONED AND BLIGHTING NEARBY NEIGHBORHOODS!!!
Never fear, they say the real estate market might be picking up in 2014 or sometime in the next 30 years. Meanwhile, the KCPS still needs community support from neighborhoods and scruffy celebrities in need of inspiring video footage.

My feeling in watching the way buildings were "marketed" in the Northeast is the District is just going through the motions.

ReplyDeleteSome of these buildings have been empty for 20 years. Do you really think that the district was serious about selling them?
ReplyDeleteJust tear them down. Nobody wants them, or they would have been sold already.
