This was a cluster f*ck from the beginning. The Anonymous turds that were running "Operation Maryville" were just seeking publicity. One hacker was in Istanbul, and the other three were blowing about all the Op's they had been involved in. Old school Anons don't chatter about "what they have been involved in" It was suggested to Dr. Coleman, early on, to keep off social media but obviously that didn't happen. They were busy on Facebook and Twitter and the end result not good,
As for Mean Jean, she wanted no part of a trial in a Republican stronghold that was basically a "he said-she said case". Mean Jean can claim victory and the kid walks without a felony. Who cares about a misdemeanor? That's like a small pimple. Now Mean Jean can get back to campaigning for Attorney General. I don't know this for a fact, BUT time will bear it out, I smell Courtney Cole in the background. It will be interesting to see if she surfaces in Mean Jean's campaign and/or staff if elected. If that happens, this whole little media circus was planned. We accused Cole from the beginning, and it would be natural for her to deny. Suddenly she got real quiet when we turned up the heat on her. Then her dad started contacting us on Face and Twit.
As for dead tree, social and vid media, this was short term material. Now it will be on to the next story. Anonymous has members that are very bright. Many thought this was a con from the beginning. Now that is proving out. Barnett did what high school and college kids do all the time. Kids get drunk and have sex. Plain and simple. Personally, I think Daisy was afraid of the psycho mom and it went from there. Any case like this where there are two groups of witnesses, it's a "he said-she said" and the odds are stacked against a conviction. Mean Jean read the tea leaves and tried to save face. Dr. Coleman basically told me this the day she and Daisy met Mean Jean the first time. That how I put the peg on today's announcement. It was made a month and a half ago basically.
It will be interesting to see how it plays in social and dead tree now. Will it die or will there be more? I will bet there is more to come and hopefully it won't be tragic.

UPDATE . . . Anonymous dropped a 10 grand bounty on Matthew Barnett for video of him busting his 2 year alcohol probation..... as per her reputation.....in a tough case (Bishop Finn) Mean Jean is anything but. She will roll over . . . Now watch her run for AG without a high publicity loss on her record and votes coming in from NW Missouri for being their rescuer.

BS...he only regrets having this blow up on him. He has probably forced more than one girl down at Warrensburg to have sex...and this slap on the wrist will not make him stop. His parents have created a pathetic excuse of a man, no respect for women, and little respect for himself.
Daisy's attacker is now a full grown man and he will go to big boy jail if he doesn't comply with his parole. Somebody should explain that to him.

A victory for rapists in Missouri
ReplyDeleteNo, it's a victory for a system that doesn't decide through public opinion based on one-sided rhetoric who goes to prison. Anyone on this site who thinks there was enough evidence to support a rape convictions obviously doesn't know anything about the law. On top of that, you same people screaming for a trial forget that Daisy would have had to take the stand and answer pointed questions from defense attorneys. The entire world, of course, would be watching every detail of the trial, and comparing everything she said under oath with the hours of television interviews by her and her mother since October making all kinds of claims that have never been substantiated.
ReplyDeletePoint is, if this had gone to trial, Daisy's ordeal would have only gotten worse because of the ongoing publicity. Instead, if she and her mother can stay off social media sites long enough, they can move on and eventually this whole thing will fade away.
Think about it a bit, 8:42....his parents have created the type of young man who has sex with a drunk 14 year old. They have created the type of young man who tweets routinely (from Warrensburg), mention things like "If her name begins with A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z, she wants the D". Does that sound like a young man who respects women or himself...I think not. Think before you write comments...maybe you will not look so stupid....
ReplyDeleteDear 1:29 PM: I think that you are right, it would only have hurt the victim further to have gone to trial given the lack of compelling evidence. Remember, in a trial the suspect could have been completely acquited--then where would the victim be? Ms. Jean Peters Baker acted with the sort of wisdom and restraint in this case that I very much wish, for the sake of our city, that she had shown in the Carl Counti case. Take care!!
