ReplyDeleteAnd if you don't like TKC comments go buy a newspaper.
ReplyDeleteAmusing that groups continue to embarrass themselves through inane efforts like sleeping outside in an imaginary homeless camp.
ReplyDeleteThis seems to be especially popular among the church and youth groups.
The public is encouraged to play along with these charades, and discouraged from asking the relevant questions:
Is this about drawing attention to yourself and stroking your own ego, or are you genuinely interested in helping the homeless?
If you actually wanted to aid the homeless, wouldn't you be volunteering at a shelter, serving meals, tithing a portion of your income, etc., instead of putting on this silly public spectacle?
Only in America could people manage to make helping the homeless a narcissistic exhibition.
