Deets on a deadly somewhat local family double shooting:
KMBC: Charged with first-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action and first-degree assault in connection with the double shooting at a Claycomo, Mo., business.
Newspaper: Lathrop man accused of fatally shooting his father, wounding his sister in Claycomo
KSHB: Charged Saturday evening after Clay County detectives said he shot and killed his father, Ray Littrell, and wounded his sister. Ray Littrell was the owner of the repair shop off East 69 Highway where the shooting took place. The elder Littrell's daughter was injured in the shooting and remains in the hospital.

before he got bad, I used to work with him at diesel truck maintenance shop. Frank was nothing but a decent, thoughtful mentor to me. I was absolutely shocked when I heard this news. Of course I can't agree with what Frank did, but I am curious what chain of events pushed what I used to know as a good and decent man to this. Its a tragedy on all sides.
