There are too many to name but the most important part for politicos is to get out and about in order to be seen showing holiday spirit and schmoozing all the right people.
Yes, Mayor Sly is the most coveted Kansas City guest but we hear his party plans are mostly dominated by local corporate types and top law firms.
Don't bother with too many community events, the trolls amid the local bar scene and any place that Westport Power Broker Bill Nigro will drop by . . . The best holiday treats and open bars belong to engineering firms and maybe one or two marketing companies. New Year's Eve offers a second chance but the Kansas City political X-Mas party time of the season shouldn't be overlooked as an integral part of the local schmooze scene as campaign season gets closer and closer.
