  1. Less than ten days off in two years? That person should of quit and what kind of management would put such demands on employees? They deserve people quitting on them. They are also just asking to lose a murder case in court because some exhausted employee made a critical error. Slaves in China get more time off than that. KC should be ashamed. I'm sure they are losing good people with advanced degrees too. What a joke leadership is. That is despicable.

  2. Mismanagement to the highest extremes. They won't hire anyone yet they pay time and a half for the people they have and work them like dogs until they can't work anymore. Good job Darryl.

  5. If only half of the vacancies are frozen, why don't they hire the other half? Better to bitch about it to the press.

  6. FD is the same way. Overtime like mad, unfilled vacancies "defunded" to make it look like staff reductions, while people work with broken down equipment that can't get replaced.

  7. They should release some of the 20+ assistant city managers.

  8. KC has brought the grief on itself. Watch the dumb asses of KC turn right around and reelect the same types of clowns who got us here.

  9. This is what happens when your tax base leaves and the parasites begin to outnumber the producers. On a larger scale, our country is doomed for the same reason.
