  2. Good-bye to the white people. Hello to slop-over, Wyco trash that follows.

  3. Walmart generated $700K in sales taxes for Roeland Park. Good luck making that up.

As for Mission Chateau, PV is paying only for their decision to deny zoning for the project because their whiney people didn't want senior citizens moving into 85th and Mission Road.

  4. Sales tax comes with a price. More funds spent on fire, police and streets. Notice Mission Hills is not doing too badly without sales tax.

  5. Corporate welfare always ends this way. Suburban blight is the new reality of white America's locsut-like consumption and fear-fueled fleeing. You were warned, sububranites, and now the chickens have come home to roost. KCMO's urban core is thriving, meanwhile KS and outstate MO scramble to build crappy tract homes on the next cornfeild out, tithering away their lives in single passenger SUVs lined up on overbuilt freeways headed from culdesac to stip mall to office park in a never ending cycle of sitting, sloth and consumption.

  6. The suburbs are a pyramid scheme.

  7. Once Mission dumps their Mayor and old-school council it will be the next Roeland Park. Get rid of all incumbents and their lame driveway taxes.

After that, who else is up for election?

  9. Who wants to live in Mission, or Roeland Park anyway?
