Brilliant, Kansas City murder rate at a all time high and you dumb fucks are fighting over a fucking sandwich shop. Just fucking brilliant.
ReplyDeleteand you're on this thread, too, dumb fuck.
DeleteYes. Support local businesses. I know that many franchises are locally owned but...
ReplyDeleteThere was just a story about how CK was going to streamline the approval process for new businesses downtown to encourage new small business development.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like the same old CK crap. It's never WHAT; it's always WHO!
My friend the Mayor loves him a good sammich.....
ReplyDeleteKC is as crooked as hell.
ReplyDeleteJimmy Johns = shit sandwiches
ReplyDeleteGood. Drive throughs are fine in the northland and JoCo, where grown ups are scared to walk anywhere except from their garage to their couch. Downtown is for city people. If you don't like it, get the fuck out. No one here needs you crying suburbanite ninny ass.
ReplyDeleteThis is a CITY.
The streetcar was suppose to bring jobs to Downtown. So here are jobs, but guess Dave Johnson & friends don't like fast food jobs.
ReplyDeleteWhile the city falls apart and empty buildings are everywhere KCMO is dicking around over a sandwich shop. Wake the hell up and get on the real issues.
ReplyDeleteI smell a lawsuit against the city in the making. Here we go again.

ReplyDeleteFor anyone who has actually been to or lived in an actual "urban environment", downtown KCMO is NOT "a city".
It is a small-town very superficial version of a serious downtown, sterile and very human -unfriendly environment with very little foot traffic, lots of empty buildings, and only occasional places of interest or human activity.
All that's fine and it's good that some folks ae big supporters of downtown, but facts and reality tend to win out in the end.
And the tax money being poured into superficial cosmetic projects downtown
isn't going to change those facts.
ReplyDeleteTip to the JJ owners. Find a new location. This city is a fucking joke and will fuck you over and over again.
ReplyDelete9:58 : I ditto your assessment. Downtown is not even a shadow of its former self. I think of it as an office park. It used to be a dynamic economic environment years ago. Macys and Jones were great draws.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to get all excited about potential eye sores in KC how about checking out some of the flee ridden hotels now operated by slumlords. How about we look at the ghetto within our own city. I can not grasp all this worry about a sandwich shop when half the city already looks like a dump.
