Important follow-up on a local murder from a couple of weeks ago . . .
KMBC: Prosecutors have a charged a 19-year-old Kansas City man in connection with a slaying nearly two weeks ago.
And of course this year the local homicide count kept rolling along with not much progress achieved in stopping the death count that's disproportionate to cities of similar size.
