AP on KAKE and I guess things aren't as rough in prison as they used to be . . . If OZ informed me correctly: "A Kansas prison inmate claims he's being discriminated against because the Department of Corrections won't allow visits from his husband, whom he married legally in Iowa."

The guy is not being allowed to visit because he is a convicted felon, on probation for the same offense that this guy is in prison for.
ReplyDeleteHas nothing to do with him being gay or not. All felons are banned from visiting prisoners in the correctional system.
Damn it Tony! Get the facts. "A spokesman for the Kansas Department of Corrections says Yates' spouse is not being allowed to visit because the spouse is on probation for his role in the crimes Yates committed."
ReplyDeleteThe husband was a co-conspirator and has been convicted and on probation for the same crimes the inmate committed.
Now there are two pretty obvious issues here. First NO probation officer will allow someone convicted of the same crime to associate with the other convict. That happens with every probation case in the country. Now if the husband does not like the conditions of his probation he can always ask that his probation be revoked and can go to jail.
The second issue is why is the husband only on probation and the other spouse in prison on the same crimes? Very, Very often it is because one of the parties is the snitch even though just as guilty as the other party. So guess who the snitch might be?
This isn't about the State cracking down on queer jail visits. This is about rules that prohibit two convicted felons from associating with each other. In this case one in prison and one on probation.
Sounds like discrimination to me!
ReplyDeleteA guy in prison is upset cause HE can't see his HUSBAND? What a totally fucked up place, America has become and it's getting worse everyday. Oh, move you say? Where, the fucking moon??
ReplyDeleteI hear that there is plenty of space on Ur-anus.
ReplyDeleteI don't see what he is so worried about. This bitch is in fag heaven. He's in a place where he can have all the dick he can handle. Besides the article states the his "husband" is on probation for the same offence, not that Tony would actually read the article. He just sees something about gays and gets a boner.
ReplyDeletehe said penal....huh, huh, huh!!!!
