Important lesson for Kansas City students . . . Job performance isn't everything:
Kansas City Public Schools Superintendent R. Stephen Green has signed a new, five-year contract to lead the district.
Slightly higher test scores are touted for this deal . . . And again, nobody has noticed that the level of violence (rape reports and fights) has increased @ among KCPS students.
Ah hah!! So that's what the valiant fight over accreditation was about!!

It would have failed even more under anybody else. Sort of like when corporate leaders get huge payouts as the company goes out of business.

When it turns out that those numbers were achieved by way of a cheating scandal reminiscent of the Atlanta, GA scandal Dr. Green and the board need to go to prison. Follow the money...
ReplyDeleteIt is simply criminal that Green with bonuses will make 375,000 a year. He was the President of Kauffman Scholars and it failed. And now he will get paid again for failure, the only problem is when he fails his district creates more people who will find it difficult to compete and contribute to the city.
