SHOCK!!! SNAP CLAIMS NOW DEAD KANSAS CITY PRIEST THREATENED BOYS HE MOLESTED WITH EXCOMMUNICATION!!!

Really shocking details from SNAP on this story of Kansas City Catholic scandal legacy . . .

Missouri’s most awful predator priest will never again hurt a child.

Msgr. Thomas J. O’Brien has passed away. He forced silence on some of the dozens of boys he sexually assaulted by telling them that they would be kicked out of the Catholic Church, they would go directly to hell and their parents would disown them.

O’Brien faced allegations of molesting more than two dozen children (sometimes along with fellow KC priest Fr. Thomas Reardon), often at a cabin on Lake Viking (northeast of Kansas City) and several parishes (St. Patrick’s in Kansas City North, St. Elizabeth’s, Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Independence). O’Brien worked at several Catholic institutions (St. Pius X High school and St. Joseph Health Center). O’Brien was also chaplain for the Kansas City Missouri Police Department. He remained a priest until his death.

He apparently lived his entire life in the KC area and kept working as a priest until 2002.

In 2008, Kansas City church officials refused demands by victims to have O’Brien defrocked. Shame on them.

We hope every single person who was assaulted by Msgr. O’Brien feels a measure of relief and closure at his passing. We hope every single person who saw or suspected his crimes will call police, so that those who ignored, hid or enabled his crimes might be prosecuted. And we hope every single person who stayed silent about his crimes will re-examine his or her conscience and finally find the courage to call police, prosecutors, therapists, journalists or support groups, so that more of the truth about Kansas City clerics who committed or concealed heinous crimes against kids will be revealed.

  3. I'm SURE that SNAP also hopes that every single person abused by David Clohessey's brother around the same time, also calls police since Clohessey failed to report himself.

    COMPARE & CONTRAST

TKC: "We hope every single person who was assaulted by Msgr. O'Brien feels a measure of relief at his passing. We hope every single person who saw or suspected his crimes will call police, so that those who ignored, hid or enabled his crimes might be prosecuted. And we hope every single person who stayed silent about his crimes will re-examine his or her conscience and finally find the courage to call police, prosecutors, therapists, journalists, or support groups, so that more of the truth about Kansas City clerics who committed or concealed heinous crimes against kids will be revealed."

Well ok! That was quite a mouthful of strongly opinionated words!

Now, let's contrast that with TKC's stated opinion on the Maryville Rape Case.

paraphrasing....Oh, it's a big stink about nothing! She said/He said...who knows what's true? Kids will be kids! Just a bunch of outside agitators if you ask me! We'll never know the truth so why go searching for it? "Mean Jean" shouldn't help serve justice in this case.

TKC, oops your prejudice is showing! What's good for the Catholic children is good for the child rape victims. Don't you think?

    1. Yes, and also absent from the discussion is the role that several schools and teachers, as well as principals played in covering up their actions.

  8. Ok, let's get this straight. First, I'm gonna suck your dick, then it's outta the church for you. Got it??

  9. It's way past time that the Catholics let their priests have sex with other consenting adults to help stave off this crazy BS of child abuse!

  10. TKC is always publishing SNAP's smears filled with groundless claims of alleged abuses from years ago. In the last few years there have been exactly 7 substantiated claims against a Priest out of a population over 40,000 Priests. There are more substiantiated claims againsts Kansas City area teachers each year, so where is the TKC outrage?

SNAP's days are over. In the past they managed to get their hands on lawsuits BEFORE they were filed. Can you say, man·u·fac·tured?

  11. SNAP continue to attack for the law firms paying them even after a person dies. Very cla$$y.
