KCI Gets 'World's Worst' Bloggy Ranking

  1. WOW an automobile culture blog and people don't like our airport. And there were a whooping two posts on it...Guess we better tear it down and build the new one, EVERYONE, wants. I don't like that there is not a freeway built right behind my house, can we get that done too, EVERYONE, wants it.

  2. A blog post from some NY moron who booked a 7-hour layover at KCI and (shock) didn't like it becomes a news story. The KCBJ is acting more like the Star every day.

  3. I see in the comments that Sly's favorite airport was ranked worse. Why is that not the headline?

  4. What department downtown does SaabLife work in. Sly and Russ's Ministry of Propaganda?

  5. Business journal is totally full of shit 98% of the time. Writing staff is full of lick-spittle's, fawning underling's and toady's eager to bend over on command for the CK establishment types.

  6. Who the fuck gives a shit what a car blog says about airports. That's right up there with a sorority blog commenting on brain surgery!

  7. Ranking MCI with Newark, LA and Honolulu is absolutely correct. They're all shit holes. MCI is an especially egregious shit hole because unlike the others, you pay twice as much to rent a car there, thanks to umpteen special taxes (for stadiums and other crap) the ruling mob of KCMO has imposed.

  8. Good God...since when did airports become shopping and entertainment destinations...Hey let's go to 'wherever' they have a really great airport...can't believe some people have enough time on their hands to actually critique an airport...

  9. No, an airport isn't Disneyland. But these days, if you use an airport at all, you will usually end up spending many hours in it. Good airports? Try PDX in Portland, Ore. Everything is clean. Everything works. Restaurants serve really good food in all price ranges. Stores sell made-in-Oregon merchandise (including wines and Pendleton woolens). And guess what: All of it -- the food, the merchandise, the services -- is at normal retail prices! Go through PDX. Then go through MCI. You won't have any problem figuring which one is wonderful and which is a shit hole.
