The latest salvo in the ongoing debate over artifacts, funding and just about everybody hating on Union Station dude George Gustello . . .
KCUR: Board Votes, Again, To Sever KC Museum Ties With Union Station
Despite legal threats from Council Dude Jim Glover . . .
"The Kansas City Museum Advisory Board on Monday approved a plan recommending the Kansas City Museum separate from Union Station. The board meeting opened with a Sunshine Law training. The last time the board voted on this issue, the city attorney’s office said it violated the state’s open meetings law."
Again, the real fight here is over funding and artifacts/property . . . The Northeast struggle defined the Summer and provided yet another instance where local elites dominated Kansas City neighborhood interests.
On the bright side . . . The Museum as yet another City Hall subsidized spot for an occasional cocktail party sounds nice and horribly expensive with no real benefit to the surrounding community . . . So, it'll compliment the Streetcar nicely.
Jim Glover couldn't threaten a house fly!! The fat bastard, ought to just shut the fuck up and be grateful he has a job... What a puke!
