Kansas City youngsters and scholars engaged in a bit of a rampage this afternoon . . .
Actually, this is a lot closer to Midtown than most would like to believe (walking distance) but since it's Troost we'll call it East side . . .
KMBC: Police arrested four juveniles following a fight involving 35 to 40 teens at 39th Street and Troost Avenue on Thursday afternoon.
And while many had relied on inaccurate info that cold weather brings loser crime numbers . . . The reality is much scarier . . .
KANSAS CITY SEEMS TO BE ENDURING A 4TH QUARTER CRIME, VIOLENCE AND MURDER SPIKE!!!
This teen fight is simply one manifestation of this town's inability to properly come to terms with our crime problem despite consistently high numbers.

ReplyDeleteThe real issue is that the "Mother's" of the two teens that set this fight off brought other family members into a H.S. conflict. The family members started the fight. It's a sad day when parents would rather take part in the H.S. bullshit instead of setting the example for their kids to follow.
