TALK OF SEXY CINDY'S "GO FOR KC" POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE HAS PIQUED THE CURIOSITY OF KANSAS CITY POLITICAL DENIZENS!!!
The statement from the Go For KC website doesn't really offer a lot of explanation but gives us more of a mission statement:
"In order to build on Kansas City’s amazing success story, Councilwoman Cindy Circo launched GO for KC, a project designed to support candidates and programs that seek to expand growth and opportunity in Kansas City.
Specifically, GO for KC will support candidates and issues that increase competitiveness, improve economic development, and strengthen neighborhoods."
On Twitter @GoForKC is just broadcasting the inane chatter recycled by so many other politicos . . .
With a bit more insight, on Kansas City Insider notes:
"I was looking at the June 30 campaign financial disclosure reports for city council. I noticed that Cindy Circo terminated her city council committee and disbursed money to some of her friends. The largest transfer was to Go For KC for $29,260 . . . Cindy still controls this money. She spent considerable money on campaign consultants last year."
Now . . . There has been widespread speculation that Sexy Cindy is has her sights set on the County . . . However, this KC-centric pitch won't play in Eastern Jack.
And so . . .
INSIDERS WONDER IF SEXY CINDY IS GETTING READY TO STAB MAYOR SLY IN THE BACK WITH A SURPRISE RUN FOR MAYOR OR COULD SHE BE SETTING HER SIGHTS ON THE FINANCE SIDE OF KANSAS CITY POLITICS?!?!
Whatever the case . . . The website looks smart, clean and inviting like so many of our favorite "girl power" politicos in Kansas City who are inspired by the ascendance of this local lady power broker after a split from her hubby.
Either way . . . Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Circo is out there asking residents for PAC money and voters are afraid of what she wants to do with it.
