THE MOST BRILLIANT TKC TIPSTERS TELL US THAT KANSAS CITY'S LOSS ON THE POWER AND LIGHT DISTRICT HAS INCREASED TO $14 MILLION THIS YEAR!!!
Previously, remember that the bill was around $12 MILLION a year.
This news represents a MAJOR HIT to this town's finances and should put all of the Downtown eco-devo projects in perspective.
The BRILLIANT INSIDER puts it in perspective . . .
"That's right $14 million and it's coming right out of the general fund where it will hurt this city most. And they're going to subsidize apartments and maybe a hotel? This is how Kansas City is heading down the road to becoming Detroit. One failed project after the next. This bill has City Council and the mayor on their heels because it's going to make the next project they try and sell to the public all the more difficult."
Obviously we think that the DEVASTATING TKC BOYCOTT had some impact here . . . But we're really just talking about bad planning.
Sadly, the AWESOME TIPSTER is right on the money and this is yet another sign that the spendthrift Mayor and Council have little regard for this town's finances or Kansas City's long history of eco-devo projects that don't live up to expectations.

The street car is going to turn this all around and we'll be able to have google fiber on every streetcorner. We are connected to the future and all of this negativism can't stop our progress. Just you wait! Give us all your money and wait!
If anyone could begin to figure the total dollar amount cost of niggers, it would be absolutely astronomical. These creatures are the doom of society and a cancer on the world. Doubt it?
