IS PUBLIC TRANSIT IN KANSAS CITY SAFE FOR INNOCENT PASSENGERS?!?!

An important note to start the morning regarding lingering questions related to A RECENT UPTICK IN PUBLIC TRANSIT VIOLENCE IN KANSAS CITY!!!

Check it:

"TKC, here's what you need to focus on: The recent "summit" to keep the ATA safe and increased use of cameras is mostly focused on protecting drivers and not passengers. The driver's union is in charge of this discussion and there's very little talk about what we can do to make things safe for passengers. I don't need to remind you that innocent people were shot on the bus this week and anyone who rides the bus knows that there are many stops like 39th & Main that are a clear and present danger to every passenger that dares to exit at that location. They wait like wolves to attack anyone who looks like they might have a dollar to their name. And as far as the glass cube is concerned to protect the union drivers, that will make things even worse for passengers who are being left to defend themselves in a dangerous situation that is getting worse."

Now . . .

Fact is . . . TKC hasn't been on the bus in years because they just built a QT in my neighborhood and that provides much of the sustenance that powers this blog. So, the question goes to you d-bags:

DO YOU FEEL SAFE ON THE BUS KANSAS CITY?!?!

The answer to this question is important and could very well predict the success of our future toy train efforts that haven't really discussed security at all.

  1. You can NEVER be safe, any place where niggers are allowed to roam free and unhampered by human police or security personnel.

  2. I ride the bus, but not in the ghetto. I ain't scurred.

  3. Gtfo. 39 and main is just fine. who is this fearmonger making these outlandish claims?

  4. Never fear Bishop Tony Caldwell's 600 Peace Keepers are here.

  5. 39th & main is a hell hole and there have been 8 muggings there in the past two weeks.

3 beatings and one murder shooting.

Thank you for reporting this TKC.

  6. Tony, here is an idea. Go buy a day pass (they cost $3 -- tell the driver before you insert your money, and they give you unlimited rides all day long) and ride some of these buses for a day.

You know, do some old-fashioned street reporting.

Then come back and tell us how dangerous the buses are for everyone.

And while you are at it, ask the cops for the crime report at 39th and Main, since one of your "tipsters" told you how often crime happens there to riders who are disembarking there. In other words, put some evidence behind your fear-mongering.

By the way, how is that dead bear doing?

  8. I don't ride with niggers

  9. Sure, totally safe, as long as the route doesn't pass through the hood.

  10. Maybe our intrepid reporter can give us some statistics on this, but I would be willing to wager that in any given month, there is more crime at the Oak Park Mall than there is on all the ATA bus routes combined.

  11. I think it depends on how hot it is that day. It appears that Kansas City has the most violence and criminal acts committed when the heat is on. Then again it may be because we spend 30 or so million dollars on a Law Enforcement Complex (read South Patrol) and can't even send our children to an accredited school. It is a very shiny complex that South Patrol.

  12. We know the places for sure to avoid in KC anytime but really as we have seen even the Plaza is not totally safe. So riding the bus in KC is a crap shoot since the thugs use them as well I am sure to go to other locations to rob and rape.

  13. "So riding the bus in KC is a crap shoot . . ."

Really? I ride them every day. Always get from where I left to where I am going safe and sound.

It just amazes me how easily some people can be manipulated by fear. And that is what Tony is doing here -- He is creating fear of crime among people who have never set foot on a city bus and have no idea what they are shooting their ignorant mouths off about.

Real World -- Bad things happen. Everywhere. You can spend your life cowering under your bed like a pussy, afraid of the rest of the human race.

    Or you can live.

    Your choice.

  14. Fuck You 9:31 Tony only reports what is real riding the bus in JOCO isn't same as in the hood.

If bullets coming from hoods guns don't scare you then I suggest you be a street walker at night looking for wrong doing in the hood to protect those hiding under their beds.

  15. Well, dumbass, here's what you get for shooting your mouth off without knowing what the hell you are talking about.

I live in Blue Hills. The bus I most often take to work downtown is the 54 Armour/Paseo. The next most frequent bus is the Troost Max or the regular 25. And the third most frequent is the 71 Prospect.

Now as far as I know, Blue Hills isn't in JOCO, and none of those routes serve JOCO.

So unless you want to look like an idiot again, please keep your yap shut until you have at least some clue about what you are talking about.

And by all means, let Tony and his fear-mongering keep you safely hidden under your bed, pissing your pants because the world isn't perfectly safe.

  16. I am sure the toy train will be safer. Before long the KCPD will need a transit police unit. Where is the money for that going to come from?

  17. Get real. I am not going to take a chance on who's right and who's wrong when it comes to my safety. If an area is known to be unsafe, I won't go there. Simply put, there are too many options to risk it. Instead of KC boosters getting mad because people won't ignore crime stats and go anyway, why not try to fix the problem? This notion that people should not change their habits or make choices like where to live, what school to send kids to and where to spend their disposable income is burying your head in the sand.

  18. You people are the biggest pussy's on the planet. I've seen a few schitzo's, scientologist, whino's, Greens, Ron Pauls, & Romney supporter's but I wouldn't say the place is going to hell

    ReplyDelete
  19. I would feel safe on the bus if I could take my gun, but given the low lifes that crawl on and off of those things I'll just walk.

    ReplyDelete
  20. "If an area is known to be unsafe, I won't go there."

If an area is KNOWN to be unsafe, or if somebody like Tony tells you that an area is unsafe, and you're dumb enough to buy it.

We are also not talking about going to areas that send wet stuff down both your legs. We are talking about boarding city buses.

And I feel a heck of a lot safer on a bus than I do on a freeway or city streets competing with people who think they are NASCAR drivers.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Well fuck, ALL of Kansas City is "known to be unsafe"!! Now what?

  22. Stay the fuck home and watch The Hitler Channel you fucking cock sucker's

  26. 39th& MAIN is not too bad most of the time. When I was a kid the drivers carried revolvers and made change for the riders.
