Anarchist, Liberty Activist and one of our all time faves Toni Bones won nationwide acclaim when she stood up for her property rights and her lawn decorations.

And now . . .

CHECK THE LATEST REPORT OF THE TONI BONES GUILTY VERDICT!!!

Here's what she has to say . . .

"Guilty. Community service. Chief of Police would like me to design/maintain some city flower beds for it and asked me to get ahold of him. Prosecutor refused to allow the mention of tires and proceeded to prosecute me for a make shift table, basically. She said it had nothing to do with tires?! It was silly."

Good on the po-po for realizing that Toni is an asset to her community and strident about defending her rights . . . TKC is actually relieved that one of our favorite Kansas City activists is free to continue her important work.

  3. Well, it looks like the adults were in charge after all, and Toni will accept the outcome and do her community service like a good little girl. Just like she cleaned up her property and finally got around to planting something in her tires MONTHS after being issued a warning to do so.

    And all this after weeks and weeks of big talk about how she wasn't going to cave into "the man."

    Incidentally, how's that food growing project for her kids going? My tomatoes, bell peppers and green beans are doing fabulously this year, but then again I wasn't stupid enough to plant them in tires made out of toxic chemicals that also retain heat and kill the plants.

    After all, the City of Sugar Creek has no right whatsoever to tell you what you can and cannot do on your own trailer lot, and by God, you are not going to give in!

    Interesting how she caves and accepts the guilty verdict.

    I would also advise the Chief of Police to go look at Toni's tire planters before he has her design any for the city.

    They don't look anything like the very well done flower planter she is posing beside in front of city hall.

  14. The "right thing" would have been not to trash up her trailer lot in the first place.

    Since she was unwilling to do that, the next "right thing" would have been to clean up her property sometime before June after she was warned in February.

    But nope. Toni is a "sovereign" who thinks she can do any damned thing she pleases, the rights of every one living around her be damned.

    After weeks upon weeks of tough talk, she stuck her tail between her legs and took the deal.

    And please note that Toni Bones is all about talk and nothing but talk.

    When push comes to shove, she'll do what the man tells her to do. She proved that before when she finally cleaned up her yard, and she's doing it now.

    All the while, talking tough without the guts to act upon it.

    How many hours of community service was she sentenced to? Did she tell you? Did you ask? How long does she have to complete her community service? Was she required to pay court costs? Was she placed on standard probation with a suspended sentence and/or fine hanging over her until she completes her community service? Did she also promise never to trash her trailer lot with used tires again?

    Toni to Tony on July 1: "They will probably try to cage me . . . I will start my hunger strike. They might try to make an example. I will tell you this much, Ive done nothing wrong . . . If people need to see someone like me sit in a cage for awhile over B.S. to be introduced to some real ideas as to what liberty and freedom is . . . Then so be it, I guess."

    Tony in response: "When it comes to a lady to stands up for what she believes in . . . It's IMPOSSIBLE not to admire Toni Bones."

    Excuse me, Tony, but I do find it possible not to admire a person who talked tough, but when faced with the consequences of her tough talk, copped a plea and took a deal to keep her sorry butt out of the jail she said she was so eager to get into.

    Or to put it bluntly, Toni Bones is a coward so frightened by the prospect of actually paying a real price for the convictions she only claims to hold that she rolled over for authority and will do what they tell her to do.

    9:14 to answer your question: is there white trash in New Hampshire? Imagine everyone in Sugar Creek or the people who live in mobile homes along US 40 with a New England accent and that describes parts of New Hampshire. Unemployment, welfare and disability pays good there. To new college grads out there who just got a degree in social work and can't find a job, New Hampshire is your Silicon Valley.

  49. Let's never forget Tony calling the Leawood family "suburban whiners" for fighting back in court after they had their home raided by a SWAT team who found nothing but tomato plants growing in their basement.

    And Toni Bones is some sort of hero for copping a plea and doing her community service to avoid the jail time she was so afraid of.

  50. I was there. In no way did she "cop a plea". The prosecutor questioned the cop, then Toni made an impressive and impassioned speech about cops dressed in riot gear wandering around peoples' property looking for ways to extort money out of them for codes violations. She was found guilty. Whatever the sentence was, I didn't hear it, but it was suspended at the request of the prosecutor, who commended her for resolving the situation. They gave her 10 hours of community service in lieu of court costs.

But after vowing she would go to jail and launch a hunger strike in the name of freedom and liberty, she cleaned up her property as she was told to do like a good, little girl, which is why the prosecutor commended her for "resolving the situation" and now she will do her community service like a good little girl.

    I am sure that was quite the "impassioned" speech about jack-booted codes inspectors extorting money from innocent citizens who trash their yards with used tires. Was it any more coherent than her YouTube presentation?

  55. By the way, if you want a real profile in courage, in 1913, Gandhi was arrested in South Africa for leading a demonstration of some 2,500 people against laws that discriminated against "coloreds" which included the sizeable Indian population living in that country.

    Hoping to nip his movement in the bud by not providing it with a martyr, the judge found Gandhi guilty but gave him a nominal fine.

    Gandhi refused to pay it and insisted on prison. The rest is history.

    In sharp contrast, Bones talked all the tough talk about jail time and a hunger strike, but when they offered her a deal to stay out of jail, she took it.

    Now did anybody in the room, besides you and Toni Bones, know that CopBlock is a few yahoos in scattered cities doing what the cops are now doing themselves? Video-recording arrests with dash and body cams?

    I sorta doubt it, since CopBlock has yet to accomplish anything of significance. In which case, her wearing her T-shirt (likely the only semi-clean one she owned) was yet another empty gesture -- all talk, no walk.

  57. And as soon as this post from Tony drops off his front page as it rapidly sinks, we will likely hear of Toni Bones and her courageous stand on behalf liberty and justice and used tires again.

    Not even KCTV5, the only other non-blog media to do this story and send it to CNN, bothered to follow up after Toni took her public spanking and agreed to work for the City of Sugar Creek for free.

    Perhaps, unlike Tony, they dug a bit deeper after embarrassing themselves and found out this was nothing more than a city trying to get a lazy-ass woman to clean up her trailer lot.
