- Judge Scoville probably isn't going to confirm or deny any of this talk until he has retired.
- Insiders might remember the Judge as a maverick in the Missouri House among Democrats.
- Judge Scoville would pose a FORMIDABLE challenge to other Democratic candidates thinking about running for the space that Legislator Theresa Garza Ruiz is going to leave vacant.

- Judge Scoville really isn't beholden to other political interests that currently dominate County politics and he could be one of the most independent new members of the Legislature should he win election.
Insiders are already drawing a connection/similarity between Scoville and Missouri Political Juggernaut Victor Callahan.

Looks like Mike Sanders is more than a little pissed off about Vernon's undeniable upcoming role in Jackson County politics. Unlike others who are beholden to Mike and his merry band of thugs, Vernon could give a flying fuck about Mike, and he will be very good for the County. He'd be a great prosecutor.

ReplyDeleteTony it is Sheriff Mike Sharp who wants to hire Judge Scoville to be his "counsel" except that would be against the law for a sheriff to hire his own legal council. The Sheriff has been told this over and over again by the County's attorneys, but the Sheriff is hell bent to break the law.
