Kansas City Aviation Dudes Caugth Switching Their Story On New Single Terminal Airport

Kansas City can't keep its story straight.

Sadly, people who watch the shenanigans of City Hall are constantly amazed by the double speak and two-faced tactics of politicos and bureaucrats.

The latest example:

Disturbing: Aviation Department Changing Testimony After The Fact

The double dealing in question? Call it The Kansas City Slide Switcheroo.

Check the link for a clear example of the change out . . . And here's the explanation that one blogger offers regarding Airport motivation:

"They heard my question about the methodology of their study concluding a “poor passenger experience.” They knew they had conducted no such study and that there was no such methodology. If they felt that their presentation had been misconstrued, they had ample opportunity to correct the record. Instead, they chose to say nothing and now, weeks after the fact, we discover that the Aviation Department has surreptitiously altered its presentation."

And at this point it's important to take a quick pause . . . Veteran City Hall watchers are accustomed to all kinds of duplicitous tricks from City Hall but newbies to the process might want to remember THIS episode as yet another clear example that Kansas City is unwilling to get their story straight when it comes to a proposed MULTI-BILLION dollar project that could determine the fate of this town.

  4. Re Aviation Director Mark Van Loh, Anyone with good knowledge of City Hall knows he is the most arrogant and dishonest official in KC. He's also the highest paid.

  6. The Aviation Department has done nothingto increase traffic at the airport so why give them a bigger, better, building to sit and do nothing in? It seems like there are less flights out there.
