Celebrate Sprint Center Propaganda!!!

Here's just a bit of a preview that TOTALLY OVERESTIMATES Kansas City's B-list concert venue that doesn't benefit the financial black hole right across the street.

NBC Action News: "The new independent study shows since opening in 2007, the Sprint Center has added hundreds of jobs to the area and generated millions in taxes."

Notice that last line doesn't mention revenue . . . But I digress.

A few more contributions for the Sprint Center To Kansas City:

- Convenient place for Phelps Klan to protest.

- Reminds us that promises from politicos are worthless - Remember, Kansas City political elite said that we'd have a pro hockey or NBA team as an anchor tenant and that never happened.

- Makes B-List performances much more impressive . . . I'm pretty sure Kansas City has hosted Nickelback almost a half-a-dozen times.

Other than that . . . The benefit is mostly negligible for those who don't feel a sense of pride that worn out acts finish up their tour in Kansas City after their voices have gone stale and they're mostly phoning in their performances.

More in a bit . . .

  1. I question the use of the word "independent" since it was paid for by the Center operator.

  2. YOu nailed this one. Dumb Democrat pipe dreams brought us the Sprint center, and will soon impose a 1 terminal airport and a crappy unprofitable 1000 room hotel, add that the tab of the Power and Light and we are surely headed for Detroit status.

  3. Do the IHOP folks deserve a new hotel?

  4. On That B-list don't forget to add that 3/4 dead Mexican "legend" that swam up here.
