TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! INSIDER WARNS: KANSAS CITY UNPREPARED FOR SPRINGTIME TORNADO SEASON OF SEVERE WEATHER!!!

Kansas City shouldn't forget that disaster also has economic implications.

To wit . . .

THE VERY BEST TKC TIPSTERS WARN THAT KANSAS CITY DOESN'T HAVE THE CASH TO COPE WITH A SEVERE SEASON OF SPRINGTIME WEATHER!!!

Notice already that we haven't heard much about storm clean-up efforts. Also, Brookside remains hit hardest by the hot mess and already this morning neighbors are complain about a lack of city service.

A KC INSIDER NOTES: "The snow storms wiped us out. Kansas City might need federal help if this Spring gets worse. More than a few departments are at the breaking point. City equipment needs updating and we're not getting that funding. People think we can just rush over and fix downed trees and provide clean-up. That's not the case. In a lot of instances, people are going to have to pay for clean-up out of their own pocket."

It gets worse . . .

TOP ECHELON TKC TIPSTERS ADVISE THAT THIS KANSAS CITY SPRINGTIME TORNADO SEASON IS EXPECTED TO BE "KATIE-HORNER-STYLE" CATACLYSMIC!!!

All joking aside, Global Climate Change has played havoc with our weather and already tornado season seems exceptionally dangerous, deadly and expensive.

And didn't I hear something about basketball-sized hail???

In any event, while Kansas City wastes money on a toy train and planning for a new airport . . . So many other priorities like neighborhood cleanup go unmentioned until KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS start to complain. Natch.

It's okay darling, it was just a storm. Your 28, and a big boy now
so just stay put. Wouldn't want you to have to go outside and get a splinter in your mouse finger or hurt yourself clearing brush.

  7. TKC, you might want to know that East of Troost took a hit because of this storm too. Debris on our streets will stay even longer and the city is slow to honor their pickup plans in even the best of circumstances.
