I'm exceptionally proud of my alma mater this afternoon.
To wit . . .
A KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTER SENDS WORD OF AN IMPORTANT CHANGE COMING TO UMKC THAT ALLOWS MORE OPPORTUNITY FOR THE UNDOCUMENTED!!!
Here's the word . . .
"UMKC to allow undocumented students who have received differed action to enroll and pay in state tuition . . . That's the talk among student leaders and a press release might soon be forthcoming."
This is a change up from previous University Of Missouri-Kansas City policy and it represents a result of advocacy by many progressive students along with the reality that U.S. immigration laws are in flux and soon about to change . . .
