This afternoon we spoke with MD Alam and he confirmed three things.
- MD Alam knows Derron Black by his legal name and he knows the same person by the name Shahid Abdullah.
- MD Alam cannot verify if the name represents a religious conversion that's often accompanied by a name change.
- TKC confirmed that MD Alam has hosted Internet radio programs with Shahid Abdullah/Derron Black where they discuss local, national and political topics including this presser for the upcoming Million Muslim March scheduled on 9/11/13.
Again, MD Alam gained notoriety during his recent MO Secretary Of State Run for controversial statements about 9/11 . . . He apologized for those remarks but continues to pose 9/11 questions that are upsetting to many.
Talking about the incident, Mr. Alam noted . . .
"I couldn't sleep all night, I want to help my friend Derron and do whatever I can let people know that he is a kind man who cares about the community. He will offer another apology when he announces is candidacy tomorrow."
Derron Black/Shahid Abdullah is expected to announce a run for Mayor tomorrow @ 11 in the AM on the steps of City Hall. MD Alam will be accompanying his friend.

ReplyDeleteBut I did score a bean pie anyway. They're really good. I'm not kidding. It tastes like a pumpkin pie, but way richer and spicier. Really really good. Not terribly cheap, but worth it. I think we paid $10 for two pies. It might have been $6 for one. If they had a store that sold them year round, I'd be a regular. If they'd let me in the store, being the white devil and all.
