WTF does this have to do with "walkable districts"?
ReplyDeleteIf there had been a toy train available along Independence Avenue for this pedestrian to ride, this accident might never have happened.
ReplyDeleteTrue dat.
ReplyDeleteNo, actually this sounds very much like a suicide.
ReplyDeletePerhaps we should, for once, reserve judgment until we know what the hell we're talking about.
Everyone who lives in the City knows that black folks walk in the street, most commonly the middle, regardless if sidewalks are available or not.
ReplyDeleteIf this was a jig, walking in the middle of the street, they should give the driver a fucking medal.
ReplyDeleteDamn Assault Cars!
ReplyDeleteDude. He was prone in the street when he was struck, even though the sidewalk was cleared. Police suspected he was intoxicated. This is unrelated to walkability or the streetcar.

He was hispanic, not black.
ReplyDeleteKJ, are you kidding? Around here, EVERYTHING relates to the street car.
