Kansas City Morning Operation 100

Kansas City details and report on an early morning ruckus . . .

"On 3/22/2013 at about 3 AM officers were called to the 700 block of E. 27 Terrace on a reported sound of shots. When officers arrived in the area they observed a person in an alley between houses and stopped the person to investigate. While talking to that person, a man fired shots out of a window of a house next to the officers. Neither the officers nor the person they had detained were hurt. The officers then surrounded the house and an operation 100 was called. Several people were in the house, and ultimately all exited the house, including the person who is believed to have fired the shots. That person remains in custody."
