Proponents Of City Health Tax Renewal Form Campaign
Sadly, it's not that hobo funding is a bad thing . . . But endless begging hitting Kansas City taxpayers might soon result in a harsh rejection of a sloppily crafted bill impacting Kansas City's neediest.

Spent my health care levy tax money on parks&rec taxes. Toy trains, and snow removal contractors.

I would like to know, and it's entirely relevant to the discussion, what exactly the CEO of Truman is being paid. My guess is, it's a ridiculous amount and of course, it contributes the overall crazy costs of health care in this area AND the country. There are too many of these leeches in medicine.
Hey Tony, not everyone that is too poor to afford health care is a hobo, you fucking asshole.
I guess they passed the bill to find out what was in the bill to find out that those that don't have insurance are not covered by the bill.
Vote it down!
Isn't this the Republican health care plan in a nutshell? If you get sick and don't have health insurance, just go to the emergency room, right? Oh wait, you mean someone has to pay for it? Oh shit.
Nationwide health care for all will never work because we have to many greedy people running and controling it.
This country could have such a plan but won't because all anyone seems to care about is fucking the other person out of something.
5:02- +1
I predict nurses driving streetcars so this money can be stolen too.
Just vote NO
Vote no. We can send the KCMO indigents via streetcar to Johnson County hospitals.
Yes, it appears that 5:02 is a realist! No doubt has been out of school a few years and figured out the "system."
Not-for-profit organizations (cover your expenses and fair but modest salaries, w/ NO shareholders demanding big returns every quarter) providing healthcare services in every metro area......versus the BIG MEDICINE BIG INSURANCE For-Profit Duopoly that must constantly expand, raise rates, restrict providers care options, punish the uninsured, limit treatments, and not promote healthy lifestyles as it might hurt their business model.
Maybe the proponents of this tax could stop blowing smoke up everyones arse long enough to provide an accounting of where this tax money will be spent.
Tell Truman Man NO.
I cant wastes to get mes some free stuffs.
