BREAKING!!! KANSAS CITY ST. PATRICK'S DAY 2013 HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION!!!
The latest, local homicide report and ANOTHER reminder that there really isn't a break from murder in this town.

"On Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 11:16am, officers were called to a residence in the 4400 block of East 33 St in regard to an ambulance call. Upon arrival officers located a deceased female (b/f approx 70yrs old) inside the residence. Her husband stated he found her deceased and called police. The cause of death is unknown but her death is being investigated as a homicide. Anyone with information is urged to call the TIPS Hotline at 816.474.8477."

Dear Mr. Tony: Thanks for posting!!Since we are now up to 21 homicides for 2013--compared to 20 in 2012, 16 in 2011 and 13 in 2010--I am very much hoping that the Mayor in his state of the city speech mentions the crime issue. He should do so since it has gotten worse during his tenure--the last 12 months of Mayor Funkhouser there were 98 homicides, the first twelve months of Mayor James there were 126 homicides.
