TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION ORGANIZES SATURDAY BENEFIT FOR JJ'S!!!

Other newsy outlets broke the news of restaurants organizing to benefit JJ's workers but here are the details, links and contact info . . . Check it:
EVENT TO BENEFIT JJ'S -- SATURDAY
The tragedy at JJ's Restaurant on Tuesday night has spurred so many in the restaurant community to ask, what can we do to help??
The Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association is gathering our member restaurants or ANY restaurant who would like to participate to join in a city-wide, one day, Restaurant Week-style fundraiser. Participants will donate 10% of sales on Saturday, February 23, 2013 to the staff, families and victims of the tragedy at JJ's.
Restaurants are also encouraged to have a "donation jar" available to accept cash or check donations from guests or employees if they'd like to contribute additional funds.
We, as restaurants and vendors, understand the overwhelming desire to help a fellow member of the restaurant community who has given so much to their neighbors and friends for so many years. It's time to give back.
----------------------
To sign up, simply reply to this email (abrunner@morestaurants.org) or give us a call (816-753-5222) to say you're in by Friday, February 22nd.
We'll be getting the word out to the public through our media partners and letting our fans and followers know where they can help out as well. Please do the same on your own social media sites or website!
100% of the proceeds will go to the JJ's Restaurant Support Fund, c/o GKCRA 4049 Pennsylvania, Ste. 204, KCMO 64111
Allied Members are encouraged to participate by making a donation or by eating out at one of our participating restaurants.
Thank you so much for all who have already offered staff positions, food, support, and more. We have such an incredible group of restaurant owners and operators here in Kansas City, and we look forward to bringing everybody together for such an important cause.
Thank you!
The Board of Directors of the GKCRA

JJ is loaded and has insurance.
I am hoping this will go to the folks that worked there, right?
good point.
The fine people working at JJ's have had a sudden, unanticipated stoppage of any cash flow without the benefit of any final payout. Their bills go on, accompanied by their injuries and a great sense of loss.
FUCK. THEM. ALL.
White trash!
