Mayor Sly James And Activist Meeting Update
The meeting between Mayor Sly James & activist, Alonzo Washington was a mild success that may lead to capturing more killers. Mr. Washington supplied the mayor with a BINDER FULL OF SUSPECTED KILLERS. The mayor is a member of the police board and promised that he would turn the information over to the new NOVA program for a closer review. Alonzo Washington has given these tips to law enforcement in the past. However, he suggested some new methods to get more people to talk regarding these murders to the mayor . . .
Furthermore, Mayor Sly James agreed to send a back up letter to President Obama & Vice President Biden requesting that they add Kansas City, Missouri to their tour regarding gun control in America. Many innovations were suggested by Mr. Washington and the mayor said that he wants to work more with Mr. Washington because he realizes that his efforts has helped various police agencies solve many crimes in the metro area.

Missouri lawmakers came to Kansas City to hear of the ‘ business poaching Order War. Kansas City and the state of Kansas have been battling over moving businesses back and forth across the state line. ” We are not afraid of Kansas,” James declared, “they don’t scare us”.
He called a series of personal and business tax cuts enacted in Kansas, “a bauble”, that may or may not work.
He said the bauble is, “cut all taxes and they will come”.
James pushed hard for state lawmakers to approve a new tax credit designed to attract new companies to the state
He also admitted the city’s main liability in the Border War may be education
The Kansas City,Missouri school district is one of 14 school systems in the city limits. The turmoil and controversy of a lack of accreditation and potential of a state take-over in that district often steers new residents away from the city James observed. He urged the law makers to pay attention to education policy.

What is really sad is this city has the likes of Glazer, James and Washington running loose in it and receiving any media attention as well. Three people who seem to have a following of losers bigger than themselves which in its self is scarier yet. What a great disappointment. The James & Washington Summit only trivialize a grave issue in Kansas City - crime and homicide. Washington will only get a bigger head and use the meeting with Mayor James to gain greater access to the media and KCPD and fatten his own pocketbook.
James would be greater served to meet with the victims of crime in this city and make some "real" reform to our education and city economy!

Real activists in this City don't have to publicize meetings with the mayor. They can simply call him up and say what they have to say.
