Insiders confirm that the Cathy Jolly hire has gone over like a lead balloon.
There's still a lot of envy over salaries in Jackson County Exec Mike Sanders office.
And . . .
JACKSON COUNTY WORKERS THOUGHT THEY WERE GOING TO GET A SMALL PAY BUMP BUT A HIGHER SOCIAL SECURITY TAX HAS EATEN IT UP!!!
In the interest of fairness, we talked this over with Jackson County Insiders who see the issue a bit more optimistically than grumbling employees.
"Don't blame the County for this one. The raise was as much of a cost of living increase as we could endure at this point. Then, an increase in the Social Security Tax wiped out our best intentions. It's never productive to try and place blame but in this instance it should be directed at Washington."
So, it could be unfair for Cathy Jolly to take the heat for this one according to some. Still, other County Insiders acknowledge that this grumbling has a real impact on the political future of the County Executive and could play an importnat role in "the curse of three terms" facing Exec Mike Sanders.

I didn't check your link, but, you nailed it with the work for welfare requirement. Maybe 10% of welfare recipients are not able bodied and cannot work. As for the rest? Why the fuck can't they work, say, at least 21 hours a week for benefits?

Nice, easy, part time job which will just about cover Jolly's family of four Obamacare "affordable care" for a couple years while everyone else scrambles around trying to keep their own house of cards from collapsing because the boss won't give them a 10 to $20,000 a year raise.
