KANSAS CITY WESTSIDE IRONY AND JAXCO COMBAT ANTI-VIOLENCE EFFORTS!!!

This photo is priceless and should put reactionary Kansas City white dudes in a bad mood to start the morning.

Notice the "Step Up, Speak Up" sign in front of the Westside CAN Center that's kinda infamous for providing comfort to alleged undocumented workers who would otherwise trash the neighborhood. A great many old school white dudes bemoan this practice but benefit from the cheap labor on the sneak.

This also got me thinking that upcoming immigration reform could change this whole setup given that Americans in general and Kansas City residents in particular have learned to live with and thrive amid so-called "illegal" immigration that helps to power the economy despite so much reactionary whining.

Anyhoo . . . These signs were announced last week and may or may not help curb the rate of local homicide.

DEVELOPING . . .

  1. This is a political campaign for Mike Sanders on OUR Combat dime. He is the face at the news events. Not the natural spokesperson PROSECUTOR Baker. Nope, Mike Sanders is at these events and takes all of the camera time. That did not happen when he was prosecutor. Where is Stacey Daniels? MIA. Where are the real grassroots people? All of the participants are there because they have a COMBAT contract.
Enough. Get rid of Skippy. No Cathy Jolly, either. Circo would be just okay, but that is what we are currently reduced to... "just okay"
did Jim Nunneley get a piece of money off of this current political endeavor? Old Grandpa is out there swinging for retirement kudos.

  7. Actually, the police that get hired to protect the undocumented workers hire them more often (for side jobs) then anyone else. Look into it. It is actually quite a good scam.
