Get it fucking over with before not a single school remains open in KC MO.
ReplyDeleteMy diet has been terrible, just terrible. On Saturday I had a McDonald’s $5 meal and then a pizza with sausage and pepperoni. This is Negro eating.
ReplyDeleteDo it before city hall strip mines whatever remaining school building we have left down to the last piece of copper wire and sells the shell to Walmart or Dollar Store corporation.
ReplyDeleteCan the State take over city hall as well?
ReplyDeleteMeet the new boss, same as the old boss.
ReplyDeleteThe contacts between those in the "new" school district of Philadelphia contractors has already begun.
That is where the state takeover of the KC schools will be finding new grifters to feed at the trough.
I can't even make a guess at what purpose the education model supports today. Other than lots of employment.
Wow. They are voting today. Not looking good for local control.
ReplyDeleteWhat purpose the education model supports today?
ReplyDeleteToday's model? Produce criminals, incompetents, debt and wage slaves.
Can't wait to see this current school board carrying their belongings out of their newly vacant offices. That will be one giant step for mankind.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Airick West will be able to pursue a career as a rapper soon.
ReplyDeleteCrispin can go through the revolving door at Polsinelli Shughart. Put the law degree to work as a Junior Lawyer.
ReplyDeleteGunnar Hand of course can kick back on the severance pay a while and smoke some doobies.
ReplyDeleteThe board should be jailed.
ReplyDeleteSnooze. This legislation isn't controversial or even really being fought by the district. The real question comes when DESE has the authority and has to decide if the district is right tracked or wrong tracked. St. Louis has been OK, but they are barely provisionally accredited after six years of control. Interested to see what DESE learned there that can be applied here.
ReplyDeleteNo, its not controversial but its being fast tracked specifically for KCPS. Jeff City wants state in charge of kcps by 2013-2014 school year.
ReplyDeleteNew Motto:
ReplyDeleteKCPS: We Suck, But At Least We Aint Detroit!
You SUCK, but I don't.
DeleteLee’s Summit West football star charged with armed robbery
ReplyDeleteNeed we say anymore the quality of education in this metro in general?
That was a student Lees Summit recruited from Kansas City according to one of the articles I read last night.
ReplyDeleteDid you see his mug shot?
ReplyDeleteTiny cranial capacity.
What about the 300lb ape-gorilla on the board? They all need to go. Hope that none of them are allowed on the new board or working on education related items in the future. This district is past FAIL.
ReplyDeleteThey dont get paid anything as school board members, so if they really care about the district they can continue to volunteer their time after the takeover...if its not about just having a status position.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who thinks this bill wasnt specifically written and being pushed through for a takeover to take place after the current school year is fooling themselves. KCPS wants to wait until Aug for the most recent test scores to come in, but that wont happen because they know good and well the state isnt likely to takeover when school is already underway for 13-14 school year. Think abt it. The state can already takeover june of next year so pushing this legislation through is a complete waste of time if plans to takeover werent already basically underway.
+1 - 9:26 AM Heard that one of the school board's children was a gang member.
ReplyDeleteSB7 is on the floor right now according to something I just read on Twitter. Late night session.
ReplyDeleteSB 7 just passed.
ReplyDeleteDamn they all wanted that one passed. Everyone left the bill as is without ammendments to get it to pass through. Sen Lamping suggested taking away option of leaving local school board in place.
