Will Kansas City Save Kemper?!?!

KCTV5 and the effort to save a local dinosaur now that AEG doesn't really care about local biz: "Architects, preservationists and some longtime supporters of Kansas City's American Royal say it would be a shame to demolish the iconic Kemper Arena while the facility still has several good years left in it."

  1. Misty Dawn Michael who lives in Lee's Summit shared a post about this with me on Facebook.

MISTY THE FUCKING BUILDING IS AN EYESORE WHICH IS NOT USED ANYMORE.

Let the Kemper's build a building that will be used for livestock shows.

You live in Lee's Summit now. Your opinion matters not on Kansas City business Misty.

  2. The Blunder Down Under wrecked havoc on the economy of the West Bottoms. Since it was built, the West Bottoms has become a ghost town. Why? Because a building surrounded by a desert of surface parking doesn't generate any econmic activity for local businesses. People leave the building, get in their cars, and go home. When the building is idle, no activy whatsoever occurs on those parking lots. Get rid of this parking obsessed disaster and replace it with buildings that have a life 24/7. This is a NO BRAINER! P.S. Except for a BBQ Party, the American Royal is a WASTE! MOOOOOOOOO!

  5. The dump with a hump. I thought semi pro Arena Football was going to save Kemper? Burn it to the ground and build project homes.

  6. That arena football scam is not being touted on here anymore since the management quit paying Tony's butt buddy Chris Moreno. Carry on. That is all.

  7. Here comes that 10 story parking garage and a walkway the city desperately needs.

Are we down to getting a powder puff pro basketball team yet?
