TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! AFTERMATH OF STEPHEN BOUGH WITHDRAWAL: LATINOS DOMINATE RECOMMENDATIONS ON DECK FOR JACKSON COUNTY SPORTS AUTHORITY!!!

A bit of WELCOMED diversity news in Jackson County that will hopefully meet with approval by the Governor and confirmation in Jeff City.

IN THE AFTERMATH OF STEVE BOUGH WITHDRAWAL, LOOK FOR AN ALL LATINO LIST OF CANDIDATES FOR THE JACKSON COUNTY SPORTS AUTHORITY OPENING!!! EVEN BETTER, THE TKC BLOG COMMUNITY HAS INTERCEPTED SOME OF THE TOP NAMES!!!

We've heard back from more than a few of people and the vast majority believe that Stephen Bough is "done" when it comes to his chances on the Sports Authority.

And so . . . Insiders at the Courthouse admit this is a nice opportunity for Jackson County to make nice with the local Latino community in the aftermath of a hasty dismissal of former JaxCo sports dude Beto Lopez which created quite a stir.

The list so far . . .

- Jean Paul Chaurand, President Of The Kansas City Parks Board.

The favorite son of the GCI contingent and Westside political connections.

- Gloria Fisher - Executive Director at Westside Housing Organization

An extensive financial background when it comes to business analysis and government agencies.

- Former KCMO Parks Board President John Fierro and current Executive Director at Mattie Rhodes Center

Northeast Latino Power Broker and the non-profit artsy alternative to GCI.

Sadly, there's nothing that involves Latinos that also doesn't involve a bit of infighting as well but we hope the bickering is ironed out quickly so that a bit of progress can be achieved and diversity returns to the Jackson County Sports Authority.

DEVELOPING . . .

  1. That little, mole faced fucker, Fierro, should just get a job and then keep it. Stay the fuck out of politics, you little weasel..

  2. We can do better.

Fierro screwed us over. He could not man up to Funkhouser. He is done.

Jean Paul Chaurand? Really? that all you got? enough with the Cris Medina family members.

Don't know Ms. Fisher... if she's GCI_ I say no.
Let's go with Judge Rocha (ret) or former city clerk Catherine Rocha for starters.

We have so many more talented Latinos. No more retreads from the usual suspects.

  4. Somebody needs to step up then.

  5. What a sad-sack city of credulous twits we have become.

  6. Hey, who is we? These are all political insiders not REAL Kansas City people.

  7. Don't let the name fool you. Gloria Fisher is a "wise Latina" but still the lesser of all evils on this list.

  8. Beto Lopez lost his job because he enjoyed all the goodies that go with the job -- suite, free parking, constant offers of entertainment.

He loved it so much that he behaved like a waiter named "Juan" in a white dinner jacket around the team owners and executives.

Nevertheless, Tony squealed like a stuck pig when Beto got handed the sack. Therefore, I really do not trust Tony's abilities as a minor league scout -- especially when he floats the name of "Mini-Me" John Fierro.

I really do not care what ethnic background the new Sports Commissioner hails from as long as they make it clear to the teams that the people of Jackson County are the landlords.

  9. It was Jean Paul's brother Enrique who scribbled the list, so what do you expect?

  10. Good Job Jean Paul; felicidades!
