TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! CRITICS AND TKC PROCLAIM: KANSAS GOV. BROWNBACK CONSIDERATION OF LATINO TOKEN ANGELO MINO PROVES THE GOP DIDN'T LEARN ANYTHING FROM SHAMEFUL DEFEAT AT THE HANDS OF PREZ OBAMA!!!

During the presidential election of 2012 Latinos across the nation proved pivotal in determining the outcome of the vote.

Had Republicans focused more on jobs and stifled their hate-filled attacks which endorsed ethnic profiling of both illegals AND Americans citizens of Latino heritage, the outcome of the vote would have most likely been different.

The failure of the GOP to accept the demographic changes in the United States has lead to an overall weakening of the party and their political ideology.

Sadly . . .

TOKENISM IS NOT THE ANSWER TO "THE LATINO PROBLEM" FOR THE GOP AND A RECENT APPOINTMENT BY GOV. SAM BROWNBACK PROVES THAT HE DIDN'T LEARN ANYTHING FROM EMBARRASSING GOP DEFEAT ON THE NATIONAL STAGE!!!

A great many thanks to a TKC TIPSTER who sent this message our way:

"FYI, this guy was picked by Brownback and his Latino advisor to work with the Kansas Latino Legislative Caucus as a consultant on important upcoming legislation for 2013."

It's really just a sad testament to the fact that Gov. Brownback isn't paying attention to the details of the fastest growing minority in his state that he would work with somebody like Angelo Mino.

Now . . . I want to try to be fair. I hear Angelo Mino is a nice guy but he's got to lose the bow tie and shoe-shine shtick. The arguments of this post could be changed if Mr. Mino stops his "hat in hand" approach to public life and improves his political connections, affiliation and experience rather than just pulling the pathetic and embarrassing "Si Señor" routine on talk radio when Kris Kobach needs somebody to carry his umbrella.

Mino has been propped up by the Conservative Radio crowd because he kisses their feet and says whatever they would like to hear.

FACTS: Angelo Mino doesn't have ANY significant legislative experience or affiliation with any notable Latino agency, organization, lobbying group or political concern with an active membership.

GOV. BROWNBACK, INSTEAD OF DEALING WITH LATINO PROFESSIONALS YOU SIDED WITH A SHOE-SHINE GUY THAT JUST MAKES YOU LOOK OUT OF TOUCH AND EMBARRASSING TO EVEN THE MOST DIE-HARD LATINO REPUBLICANS!!!

It's a symptom of the same problem the GOP has across the Midwest . . . They see all brown people, even citizens as foreigners who are unworthy to share the same rights guaranteed under the Constitution.

There are plenty of prominent Latino Republicans in Kansas and even more knowledgeable members of the Democratic party that the Gov. could have worked with . . . But instead the Kansas Gov. simply proves that he doesn't have an extensive knowledge of politics, people and professionals in his own state.

DEVELOPING . . .

UPDATE: WORD FROM MR. MINO REVEALS HE DID NOT RECEIVE THIS A APPOINTMENT BUT MIGHT HAVE BEEN PART OF A GROUP OF APPLICANTS.

  6. Have to say 10:03 brings up good points.

This is Kansas not Little Mexico. To me an American is one who lives full time in the U.S. If you live full time in Mexico you're a Mexican. You become that of where you live and call home. Blacks who's families have been here forever are Americans plain and simple, this fucking Afro American bullshit is stupid. You can be of many descents but you're an American if you call the U.S. home.

If you don't like that then get the fuck out, and go home to where ever it is you think is so fucking much better than here in America where we call ourselves Americans.

  7. Your missing the point.

This guy is an UNQUALIFIED American.

I thought a good American position was to pick the best guy for the job?

TKC rightfully calls out Brownback for playing the race card and playing rather stupidly.

He should have picked a more qualified candidate.

  8. And as I say shouldn't be a fucking race card to play.

  9. I think Tony is inferring that the dude is a coconut: brown on the outside and white on the inside. The Mexicans and Blacks will never be happy for success of one of their members unless that member shares their same ideological point of view. The inconvenient truth is that most Black and Hispanic (so called) leaders have no respect for freedom of thought of their members unless they give them their unquestioning loyalty and these leaders are better at being Fascists at heart than any white guy. It is like the old WHO song; new boss same as the old boss.

  10. Well more good points as well.

  11. Not really. Just people who don't understand politics and outsiders. Typical TKC.

  13. The GOP did learn something from the 2012 election. That the low information voters now outnumber people who are informed. But hey enjoy that gov cheese while ypur on your third year of unemployment.

  14. Hmmmmmmmm....unqualified, like the nigger that's in the white house>

  15. If Mexico is such a great country, why are so many of its citizens fleeing it to the Estados Unidos amigo? Do you people really want the United States to look like Mexico? There is one policy of the Mexican government the United States might want to consider adopting: in Mexico, naturalized citizens do not have the same and full rights as naturally born Mexican citizents. Also, Mexico does not allow anchor babies.

  16. Example of GOP stupid. Enjoy the past.

  20. My name is Angelo H. Mino, and I am very surprise about your breaking news,

Please let me know the title, position and or duties that I am taking over. I have no received any appointment from Governor Sam Brownback.
Looks like to have more information than me, and I will like to send a thank you note to the Governor, but before I do this, I want to know what is that I need to thank him for. For sure my family will love to celebrate this too.
I have no idea what is that you are talking about; can you show any document with my appointment? Is any link where I can go and have more information about it?
Be informed that this Monday, I received an e-mail from someone on the Governor’s office asking me to submit some information; no specifications about appointments were defined on the e-mail. I will be more than happy to posted here of you can reach at my office number for more credible information

  22. Angelo H Mino2/7/13, 4:30 PM

Once again and I hope this will be the last time.

    Mr. Tony,
My “splanglish” does not let me understand properly sometimes. You are mentioning my participation on Kris Kobach’s radio talk or show (???). If that is a fact for you and If you can post in this blog an audio or video of my participation, intervention, a call, or comment to Mr. Kris Kobach’s radio show, I will donate $1,000 dollars to the charity of your choice. I am just looking for facts to support or deny your comments. The radio will be glad to provide you with any resources to accommodate you with my request.
For sure you will find information on my speeches in front of Tea Party people at their rallies, because I don’t hide myself behind a blog, I get out, I show my face, I publicly talk about my points of view, ideas, and I do speak very loud, with a South American accent but very loud.
For sure you will find audios about “our” participations at a local radio station (Darla Jaye Show) where you used to have a very interesting and controversial radio segment. I was one of your listeners.
Sir, you are trying to insult me because I use a bowtie, or because I have clean, shining shoes. Do you think that is a manly way to face another man? Is that the only think that you have against me?
You put me down and belittled me about my lack of education, and community service? Please visit my website before you pick a name of a honest working immigrant, and regular Latino family man before start trashing him out without any reason or facts. www.angelomino4lenexa.com
Sir, I did send you a personal e-mail invite to you for a meeting , let’s talk and let’s clear any personal issues that you may have against me, once again Sir, I always do my businesses face to face.
