Show-Me Missouri Still Smokin'
Post-Dispatch reports on yet another sign that it's going to be a tough session for the Democratic Party in Missouri: "A Democratic proposal to ban smoking in the Capitol offices of Missouri House members was snuffed out Tuesday in a Republican-led committee."
Perspective: Remember a recent report that called on states like Missouri to do better in education and encouraging residents to quit smoking in order to improve the state's FRIGHTENING health ranking.

They may ban smoking but they will never ban the free alcohol.
