SHOCK!!! DEAD TREE MEDIA CASTIGATION!!! BISHOP FINN LASHES OUT AT NATIONAL CATHOLIC REPORTER!!!

On Sunday, Kansas City Area Bishop Finn made a bold move by taking on Catholic newsies.

Check it:

Kansas City bishop says NCR undermines the faith

Bishop Finn assails NCR

Money Line From Bishop Finn:

"In light of the number of recent expressions of concern, I have a responsibility as the local bishop to instruct the Faithful about the problematic nature of this media source, which bears the name “Catholic.” While I remain open to substantive and respectful discussion with the legitimate representatives of NCR, I find that my ability to influence the National Catholic Reporter toward fidelity to the Church seems limited to the supernatural level. For this we pray: St. Francis DeSales, intercede for us."

Like it or not, this straight up approach appeals to the Catholic faithful and the overwhelming majority of people who only see the inside of a Church on Easter and X-mas. Throwing lightning bolts at newsies from on high is a solid rhetorical strategy if only for this reason: For as much as people hate those who have been cited for looking the other way while child sex abuse went down . . . People dislike "journalists" even more . . .

DEVELOPING . . .

Nobody has "undermined the faith" worse that Finn himself. He's single handedly destroyed many, many peoples already shaky beliefs.

Hell yes they do, catholic parents hate the media for exposing the child molesters within the church. They like having their children fondled and ass raped by these so call perverts of God. They have to because they don't get up and in masses by the millions demand that these perverts be put in jail and out of the church forever

Finn is driving the diocese into bankruptcy, one school and church at a time. Not surprising, though, as Finn is just a microcosm of church hierarchy all the way to the top in Rome. Bunch of right wing nut jobs wanting to take us all back to the middle ages.
