Once in a while it's nice to see a Kansas City journalist question the conventional wisdom disseminated by local government and civic leaders.

WIR: KC HOMICIDE RATE DROPS - This was highlight of a recent KCPT discussion on Kansas City homicide numbers.
Notice the Mr. Cameron is the only journalist at the table displaying the appropriate amount of interest during the discussion of life and death issues while the other panelists seem unmoved and unenthusiastic about questioning the greatest challenge and ongoing tragedy that confronts Kansas City year after year.
Why is Dave Helling on the show every week?

ReplyDeleteI don't believe that it is the fault of the police department, they are not the cause of homicides. That would be like blaming the fire department for house fires.
DeleteBarb Shelly got in her "community awash with guns" comment but doesn't address how many murders are committed with other weapons. The only way to significantly reduce violent crime is to address the root cause of why the person feels they must become violent BEFORE they choose to pick up a weapon. Mr. Cameron is correct in his comments, the police alone are not the ones to solve this problem but somehow Mr. Helling thinks local control will do the job.

The African American sub culture is a categorical, metaphysical, abysmal, disgrace to humanity and a pox on this nation.
There are 2 fuckin solutions to this problem and every fuckin human being on the planet with room temp IQ knows EXACTLY what they are.
In cities where African Americans are profiled and unconstitutionaly stopped and searched, New York, Washington, etc. (Hey, it ain't pretty, but it is a utilitarian and effective band aide on a necrosis that is killing this country and it's cities.), crime is reduced dramatically. This coupled with more cops on the streets stems the tide of African American criminality.
Essentially, the city, the state and the nation raises your worhtless, non contributing, feral thugs, because African American parents are a fuckin disgrace to humanity and refuse to do it themselves.
The other solution, which is NEVER going to happen, is to stop glorifying the "Sacred Black Experience" by excusing the murder, "It wasn't his fault", the rape, "He is a good boy", the assault, "He is musunderstood", the theft, "He came from a bad background", the riots and mayhem, "They are oppressed", the entitlment, "We need to pour more money into urban neighborhoods by way of grants, EBT/SNAP, welfare, Section 8 etc etc" and realize that in fact, PLACE RESPONSIBILTY FOR ABERRANT, ABHORRENT, VIOLENTT BEHAVIOUR EXACTLY ON THOSE RESPOSIBLE, AFRICAN AMERICANS AND THE SUB CULTURE OF IGNORANCE, VIOLENCE AND DEATH.
Trillions of dollars over the last 60 years poured into African Ameriican Civil Rights social engineering initiatives to "Level the playing field" like Affirmative Action (Where you take things away from one group of people, give it to another group of people, because of what a different group of people long dead did to another group of people, long dead.), "Protected Class" laws (Which have progressed to such an extent, that the fuckin Attorney General of the United States refuses to prosecute hate crimes, UNLESS they are hate crimes against blacks, not whites.

This de facto permission, this wink and a nod to African Americans which mitigates the severity of criminal behaviour by way of the color of their skin, codified and enforced by the preeminant law enforcement oficer in America is the epitimy of bad policy and does now, as it has over the past 60 years set the tone for Hollywood, the Main Stream Media, The 4th Estate and the American Zietgeist to apologise and excuse that same dispicable behaviour.
The responsibility for terrible African American behaviour rests categorically on the African Americans whose criminality is destroying this country.

The point of affirmative action was to make white males racists so the big mother government could protect those poor black people from them mean white cracker assholes. Mr. Cameron is spot on! The rest of the folks are there just for filling scene space. All the programs in the world won't mean a thing until several fundamental basics are address: economy, education, parent responsibility and social skills. The work is tough but everybody wants to meet for the sake of meeting. Dave Helling said it best, "I've been since the mid 80's and we've heard this all before."
