ReplyDeleteI didn't understand before but after looking at the news links, apparently Ossco Bolton took off with $15K of City cash never even contacting Floyd Merryweather. That is quite the debacle. Other TKC commenters point out that taxpayer cash is doled out all the time and for much less merrit worthy events; if any merrit at all. We keep paying and they keep staying wasting tons of cash in the process.
We need more information on Ossco Bolton (and a warrant for his arrest.)

This stuff goes on ALL THE TIME. Just take a look a week's worth of visitors' logs from the 22nd floor of city hall where the council doles out money every day and you'll get a good idea of the list of names whose snouts are in the trough on a regular basis.
