600 Arrests Thanks To TIPS Hotline

KCTV5: "The Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers TIPS Hotline announced Tuesday that the city has arrested it's 600th homicide suspect since the start of the program three decades ago."

This will be important in just a few.

Now if they could just help bring closure to the other 50% of the unsolved homicides, we might actually get somewhere.
It's amazing how Crime Stoppers, Aim4Peace, Forte, and all the others who burn through the tens of millions spent in KCMO each year on "anti-crime" programs can continuously blow their own horns even while violence increases and the homicide rate continues at two every week.
Maybe they could get together and come up with some actual goals and efforts to reach them.
Well, there's always 2013.
