TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! KANSAS CITY INSIDERS SPECULATE ON THE CONSEQUENCES OF CONGRESSMAN CLEAVER NO LONGER LEADING BLACK CAUCUS!!!
A national move might have consequences for Kansas City's Congressman Cleaver.
Rep. Marcia Fudge Elected the 23rd Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus
In turn, Congressman Cleaver is out.
And a rather well-informed Kansas City Insider tells us this:
"With the news that Congressman Cleaver is not going to be chair of the congressional black caucus any longer, is this the beginning of the end? Expect the 2014 congressional race to begin..."
On the other hand, we could see the Congressman taking a more moderate tone in his new district . . . Still, the Black Caucus gig really raised Congressman Cleaver's profile and there is certainly a cost for no longer holding the high profile job.
DEVELOPING . . .
There are NO consequences. It's a small group within a minority party in the junior legislative branch of government.
ReplyDeleteAll these big-time appointments are just for the folks back home who really don't know any better.
Doesn't anyone ask what any of these people actually ACCOMPLISH?
This means blacks might be less inclined to support him.
ReplyDeleteI like goverment cheese...
ReplyDeleteI heard he has some kind of business problems. Maybe that's why he was removed, er, stepped down?
ReplyDeleteAt this point, congress and senate are irrelevant. Watch for more executive orders from the executive branch.
ReplyDeleteWow. The end of the fuckin world.
ReplyDeleteMaybe this Captain of fuckin Industry can work on makin his Car Wash as profitable as he has helped make the Fed.
Ha-ha!
ReplyDeleteObama is going to appoint him to some government position. You watch....
ReplyDeleteAnd then Skippy Sanders and Freedom Inc will make their move to make Sanders Fed Rep.
You heard it here first.
I don't think so, Obama doesn't really like him and Cleaver isn't that connected.
ReplyDeleteOBG c'mon who are you foolin
ReplyDeleteYou do realize that all CBC chairs serve only one term as chair, right? That's a practice going back decades - it may even be in their bylaws. That's just the way it works - they always try and share the leadership. That's why it wasn't really all that surprising or nearly as big a deal as Cleaver people pretended when he became CBC chair - just about everybody gets a turn at some point. But pretending like he was forced out or lost an election in the caucus or some such is both lazy and stupid.
ReplyDeleteFuture Minister of Finance and horse shit
ReplyDeleteWho is the leader of the Congressional White Congress?? Stupid that there even IS a CBC.
ReplyDeleteEvery fucking bum in Congress should be voted out regardless of party. They are all completely worhtless and get zero accomplished. Without term limits it's their own huge fiefdom. So many of them should be in prison.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Jermaine will quit blowing his council budget to travel to black caucus meetings in DC?
ReplyDeleteLove dat Black Caucus getting all dey black agenda implemented and ol whitey sitting around with his thumb up his ass without a White Caucus for fear of being called a racist as the Blacks just eat ol whiteys lunch.
ReplyDeleteAnd the white population will not organize to deal with this very real threat to whiteys welfare.
Just pure stupid, gullible, naive, disconnected and traitorous white people doing their dumb ass white thing.
Don't forget to call me a racist to chill my freedom of speech in telling the truth about whiteys status as people of color organize to take whiteys stuff away from him.
