Here's another sign that Kansas City simply repeats mistakes rather than strives for improvement.
In both our political world and just about every other endeavor . . . There's a consistent Kansas City urge to dig up, recycle and retread people who have already failed to accomplish much.
The latest example . . .
FORMER CHIEFS COACH MARTY SCHOTTENHEIMER IS BACK IN TOWN AND FANS ARE HOPEFUL HE CAN HELP SAVE THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS!!!
The answer: No, no he can't.
Still . . . Mr. Schottenheimer's visit has recently stirred a bit of controversy and the vague hope that the team's ownership will shuffle things around. Sadly, what we're seeing is that in Kansas City there is only a pathological instinct to repeat the same mistakes.
How ya expect to have a winning team when fans are booing you every week? Who the hell in their right mind would want to perform for a fan base like that?
